Shona Stewart

Support Coordinator / Enrolled Nurse

Hello, my name is Shona.

After obtaining my Certificate in Aged Care and Diploma in Frontline Management I decided to take my career to the next level and complete my Diploma of Enrolled Nursing where I gained a whole new wealth of knowledge and have applied that skillset over the last 5 years.

The most important job I have ever had is being a mum, and my absolute favourite past time is spending time with my family.

My passion to help people Began at an early age after a close family member was hospitalised after suffering with mental illness. From there, I knew that I was meant to help people and developed a passion for healthcare.

I have been lucky enough to have worked within the disability sector for the last 18 years. I have extensive knowledge and experience with Cerebral Pasley, Down syndrome, Spina Bifida, Autism and other intellectual disabilities. After years of Working as a support worker I became extremely passionate about becoming an advocate and voice for people living with disability. I worked hard to fulfill goals and was even fortunate enough to make a hand full of my client’s dreams come true; from TV appearances to motorbike rides and muscle cars, I found no challenge was too great.

With my love and experience in disability paired with my clinical background, I am able to bring a fresh aspect and diversity to the team.
